[suggestion] "Play filtered" checkbox also for live editing

Is it possible to make it possible to view filtered image in the main window as when using "play filtered" checkbox during playback? I've got a video that was recorded in the dark and I can't see anything unless I increase brightness in filters. I want to cut "boring" parts away and keep only interesting moments, but I can't do it because I can't see anything when the brightness filter is not active. I thought if it is possible to play the video with filters, why not to make it possible to enable the filters for editing/cutting as well? Of course, if the computer is powerful enough to process selected filters in real time. At least, Adobe Premiere does show filtered image all the time even if it is really slow when many filters are enabled.
