output format, jobs, and default save folder

Hi everyone, just started using 2.6.1 r8380 win64 and quite enjoying it.  Have a few questions/comments though:

1) The output format always seems to default to AVI Muxer.  It would be nice if it instead defaulted to the format of the file you are opening.
2) It took me so long to figure out that running jobs has been taken off the File menu and is a separate program now.  What is the reason for this?  Any plans to integrate it back in the GUI?
3) Is there a way to define the default save folder?  Or have it default to the last folder used?  It always defaults to the folder that Avidemux.exe is in, I would much prefer if it would default to the folder of the source file.

Must be windows related, under ubuntu it saves to last saved folder.
