Avidemux 2.5.4 (qt4) "freezes" when I try to save video files.

I noticed about 30 minutes ago that the qt4 version of Avidemux 2.5.4 "freezes" when I try to save videos (it was working fine up until then). My operating system is Vector Linus 7.0, and to the best of my knowledge I haven't changed it or Avidemux 2.5.4, (I have, however found out that the GTK version still seems to function as it should except for that).
