TROUBLE SELCTING CLIPS WITH A-B IN VER 2.6.X

Hi,
Ever since I came across avidemux about 3 years back, I have been using only this program for converting and cutting video clips. A great program. Thanks to the developers. Unfortunately, since ver 2.6.x, selecting portion of a video clip with A-B point setting has been disabled. Many others like me are sighing the loss of this very useful function. Can it please be introduced in the new version?

Please state your used OS, version and 32/64-bit?
I'm nearly using this feature on a daily basis, setting markers [A ] and  [ B].

you are probably setting a B point before the A (check in preferences). this never happened to me.
