Avidemux 2.6 and MPEG-2 Elementary Video Stream .m2v

There is no problem in Avidemux 2.5 with .m2v files, but still not supported in 2.6.
"Cannot find a demuxer for..."
Always must change container format first, what is really unnecessary laborious.

Is it possible to add support for .m2v files soon?
