Filter to add text transitions between video segments?

Hello

I'm using 2.6 on Windows7 and would like to add some text transitions between video segments. Not sure this is the right word, though: Is this what a "callout" is maybe?

Anyway, the Video > Filters section doesn't seem to include any option to do that.

I didn't find any filter in the AviDemux site.

Is there a filter available to achieve this?
