script for selecting a few files, change resolution and select a SSA subtitle

How to do this? I saw some samples but do not know the approach. Advise? Basically it is a Japanese Anime with a 1280 x 720 resolution. The file is a MKV changing it to mpeg4, Audio is mp3 Lame and Output as  MP4v2 Muxer. Changing to a smaller size for my phone and then add a subtitle file for the series. I can do only 1 at a time so far. Thanks so much
