version 2.6.7 crashes when playing canon A720is camera videos (avi)

Hi all,

I have just downloaded avidemux to compress with x264 the video captured with my camera.
Avidemux can open the avi file, I can scroll the avidemux cursor left and right and browse through the video, but as soon as I click on play, avidemux 2.6.7 crashes (don't know with other versions).
Tried on two different computers: win7 32 bit and win XP 32 bit: avidemux crashes on both computers.
It crashes with every video generated by this camera.
