[Bug] 2 pass encoding unusable - 1st pass crash

Hi,

i'm running version 2.6.7 on Windows XP and i can't use 2pass encoding, no matter which codec i try. It always crashes at the start of the first pass, showing an empty small "Pass1" window an then closes.

Input file is mpeg 2, recorded with mythtv 0.27. I added a Media Info File for details. If needed i can upload a small recording sample.

Seems to be an issue finding the plugins.

DL the latest nightly.
Put all the extracted files into a dedicated folder.
Rename avidemux.exe to avidemux_portable.exe.
Run avidemux as a portable (double click on avidemux_portable!).
See if that works.

Looks like a threading issue with Qt
Same problem as another report, might only happen with Xp

Hi, thx for quick answer.

i played around a bit and found out the following:

it only happens if a part is cut from the beginning of the movie. In this case, all types of encoding crashes, not only 2pass. But with one exception: if encoding "copy" is used it does not crash.

One thing i noticed, maybe its related. It is not possible to set the timeline marker to zero. it always shows a time like 00:00:00.120 instead of 00:00:00.000
