Crash loading mpg file

My Avidemux 2.6.8 v2 crashs loading some mpeg2 files on Windows 8.1 64bit.
Could you help me to fix this issue?
Which information can I give you?
Avidemux creates a crash file. How can I give you that file?

Yes, that file is good.
The smallest bad file that I have is 2GB.

You could process your file with projectx first, it will fix anything that can be fixed.

just select your cut points by hitting "+" and demux.

I cut and demuxed it with ProjectX and remuxed with ImagoMPEG-Muxer, but Avidemux still crash while trying to open it.

I've just repeated those steps with indexing activated and it seems to be worked fine.
I'll test further videos!

That's an Avidemux problem: files created by projectx then ImagoMPEGmuxer have been 100% good for me for years.
