How to add a Logo / Watermark ?

Hello my friends,
i usually convert my .ts videos into .avi with Avidemux using the filters Resize and TDeint. You know a way/filter/plugin for apply a logo/watermark (also a simple word) in the same time?

load 2 logo's or
or use a subtitle for the duration you want to display the word.

There apply some restrictions on logo's (jpeg) some load others don't.
I have not figured out what restrictions are
