__gxx_personality_sj0 errors [resolved!]

OS: Win7x64
Avidemux: avidemux_r040316__win64Qt5 portable (2.6.12 from VideoHelp.com)

For the last 3 or so versions i've updated to, I've been getting the following error:

"The procedure entry point __gxx_personality_sj0 could not be located in the dynamic link library libstdc++-6.dll"

When starting Avidemux, the error is reported/pops up twice.
I checked and i have a version of libstdc++-6.dll in my avidemux folder.

Once the error report popups are closed, Avidemux generally works (however if i do a good bit of cutting, i do eventually tend to get some occasional crashes; but that could be totally unrelated, as other times it completes/saves my encodes as expected?).

Any ideas?

7zipped (http://www.7-zip.org/) to replace existing installation
exe to install

This should not happen unless you have very old plugins or something
Now we use SEH exception, no longer SJLJ

i downloaded the avidemux_r090316__win64Qt5.7z and after unzipping it into my prior avidemux portable folder, it was giving the same errors. 
As a test, i decided to unzip it as it's own folder (rather than using overwriting of my prior version).  And running it from there i did not get the errors.  Success!

fwiw, i did a quick visual scan of my old folder and found some files for avidemux v2.5.6 still in it; upon typing that up in this post to reply, it notified me that mean had posted his information! Indeed that had something to do with the issue; a clean, new folder unzip resolved this issue for me. #appreciation
