None of the keyboard shortcuts are showing in the menus, the shortcuts don't work, like [Ctrl] [X] cut a marked section in video [A ] [B ]
Is this only in Ubtuntu or do other OS have similar issues?

They still show up in the menu of the ADM nightlies for windows.
Tried Ctrl x and it still cuts the selected segment.

That is with QT5 interface?
QT4 is still showing working keyboard shortcuts
QT5 no keyboard shortcuts, showing or working.

AQUAR

Mean only cross-compiles the QT5 GUI  for the windows version of ADM.
Delete and set markers also have keyboard shortcuts!

Hope Mean isn't removing the keyboard shortcuts as part of the "ADM simplification".
Don't use them myself, but it is common to have these.

Jan Gruuthuse

Don't think mean is dropping keyboard shortcuts.
Must have something to do with Ubuntu + QT5 and perhaps some library to catch these keyboard shortcuts?
As these are showing on windows and not in my build? currently build according this:avidemux 2.6.12 Compiling Avidemux on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

We will have to wait and see if Mean has any info as to why this happens.
As you say probably some bit of code is not getting compiled under Ubuntu (missing QT library?)
