Why does AD not show the parms for Preset/Tuning/Profile/RateControl?

As far as I understand users can either select a predefined
- Preset
- Tuning mode
- Profile
- Rate Control Mode
or specify own settings in "Use advanced configuration" mode.

Now lets say I disabled checkbox "Use advanced configuration" and select
slow-Film-High-Video Size (TwoPass)

Now a look at the following disabled tabs for the corresponding parms.

Now go back to the first "General" tab and change one or more drop down selections
e.g. to medium-none-main

When I visit again the following tabs none of the parms changed.

I expected that all the (disabled) parms show the corresponding presets/tuning/profile.
That seems to be NOT the case.

They are always the same.

Thats bad. Very bad.

If user want to keep all preset settings except one particular this would be very difficult.
Simply setup preset/tuning/profile, then enabling "use advanced configuration" and just adjust the one parm in focus doesn't work.

He has to find out all default parms which belong to a preset and set them manually.
Very unhandy and tedious.

Is there a way to force Avidemuy to automatically adjust and show the corresponding default values for the currently selected Preset/Tuning/Profile/Rate Control Mode?

Thank you

Presets and tunes of the x264 and x265 encoder libraries are their internal stuff and may change from version to version. While in principle doable by studying their respective implementation and re-implementing the entire logic in the plugin configuration GUI in Avidemux, this would be a huge pain, highly error-prone, for miniscule benefit IMHO.

Rate control modes are preset-independent.
