Hello

I'm trying to make copies of various segments of a gameplay video. The video I'm using is 59.94fps, the copy that Avidemux makes is 60fps.

What am I doing wrong? The start and end-point is on a keyframe. The file is an MP4. Output is set to MP4 Muxer.

Video and Audio set to copy.

I'm using Avidemux 2.8.1

Should I be using a different version?

Please open Avidemux (the latest available 2.8.2 nightly build; in case of Windows and Linux it doesn't need to be installed, just make sure you never run multiple instances of Avidemux simultaneously), load the source video in Avidemux, close Avidemux and attach the log (admlog.txt from %localappdata%\avidemux on Windows) to your reply. You may constistently anonymize paths the log may contain.

So something is wrong? I have just been rolling with it. 29.97 fps videos turn into 30.11, 30.05 etc

is this the latest nightly build?

The log would hopefully allow to answer exactly this question.

Quote from: looklook on July 03, 2024, 12:44:33 AMis this the latest nightly build?

Yes, at the moment, this is the latest installer-packaged cross-compiled nightly build. The native build off the same code was compiled a day later, on June 1 2024 and uploaded to https://avidemux.org/nightly/vsWin64/. It is up to individual preference which build and packaging type to pick: a cross-compiled (installer- or ZIP-packaged) or a native build.

Ok, thanks. I Have no idea how I would anonymize paths though.
