State of lossless cutting in avidemux 2.8.1

I did some tests with markers set as below:

A=frame 1 > B=frame 2 - One sec saved
A=frame 1 > B=frame 3 - Two sec saved
A=frame 1 > B=frame 4 - Three sec saved

This seems to confirm my previous post (#11).

I think you may have misunderstood the following

if we save both frames we would save a clip that was two seconds long.

I was not implying two seconds "would" or "should" be saved, but the duration "if" both frames were saved. The additional comments and diagram I included was intended to explain why this should "not" be the case.

I only referred to the incorrect behavior of Avidemux I introduced and later reverted.
