Hello,
I am using Windows 10, Avidemux version 2.7.8.
I opened the wiki tutorial 'Create a video from a still image and an audio file'.
I can open an image in Avidemux, it is at 00:00:00.000
I press Ctrl C Ctrl V and the image is duplicated at 00:00:00.040, then at 00:00:00.080, etc.
How can I insert a second image that is different from the first?
I have 27 different images that I would like to use to make a video.

Avidemux 2.7.8 is ancient. Years old. Download the latest nightly from the link below.

If your images are sequentially ordered, importing the first image should import all images in the sequence.
If you don't want to rename them  just duplicate the folder of images and rename/number the duplicates.
Of course, the images should all have the same resolution.

Some additional info.

If you want each image to display for a given duration, the following can be used.

Select a Video Output, then select Filters.

Use Change FPS to set the framerate to 1fps.

If you wanted to display each image for say 4 secs, add a second filter, Resample FPS and set to 100fps (four times 25).

Add a second Change FPS filter and change to 25fps.

Your video will now run at 25fps, displaying each image for four seconds.

Finally, File/Append is the normal method for adding additional videos, but impractical for your needs.

Hello,
Thank you for letting me know about the new version and providing the link.
I downloaded 2.8.2.
However, I still don't know how to open multiple images in Avidemux.
I don't understand what "If your images are sequentially ordered, importing the first image should import all images in the sequence" means.

If the images are are numbered, 01, 02, 03 etc, when you select the first image all images will be imported in order.

Thanks for the exchange!
I renamed the photos, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.
Indeed, when I go to "File" --> "Open," several photos are taken into account, from 1 to 9, but numbers 10 to 27 are not taken into account.
They are displayed every 040 (00:00:00.000 then 00:00:00.040 then 00:00:00.080, etc.).
I set the filter to "change FPS from 1.000 to 25.00" then to "change FPS from 1.000 to 111.00"
There is no difference...!You cannot view this attachment.

Firstly, numbering in Windows directories must be padded with zeros to retain the correct sequence. Therefore if you have upto 99 images they must begin 01, 02, 03, upto to 99. More than 99 images would begin 001. 002, 003 and so on.
There are renaming tools that can do this quickly for you.

Secondly, when you import the images Avidemux defaults to 25fps. You must first change this (Change FPS) to 1fps.
Your images will now display for one second at 1fps. To increase this, first Resample (Resample FPS) the framerate to a multiple of 25. Then change the framerate back to 25 using a second Change FPS filter.

The first example below displays each image for 4 secs at 25fps output. The second example displays each image for 4 secs at 30fps output.

Hopefully this makes it a little clearer.
