The new compiler does not like Xp much
But there is a work-around for users who must or want to still use Windows XP (32-bit):
Just grab a copy of USP10.DLL from say Office 2010 or some other 32-bit application with a newer version of this file... search the forum for my detailed reply about installing this file. It's too bad that AviDemux programmer(s) couldn't do what Office 2010 did: They simply used a different location for USP10.DLL instead of C:\WINDOWS\System32, but I guess, being Microsoft, they could ship Office with a newer copy of the file and AviDemux can not? Or does USP10.DLL come with your new compiler and could be made part of the distribution?
