Hi, I'm a newbie to Avidemux, and a very basic user.
I would like to convert convert a folder of VOB files to MPG.
The interface is straight forward for my needs, and I've successfully converted a number of folders with multiple VOB files, by first opening the TS.VOB file, and then going sequentially through 1.VOB, 2.VOB,.. The program would often detect that there were a number of folders, and load them all.  Great!  And fast!
But I've hit a wall.  When there are multiple VOB files in the folder for the analog video (8 mm family movies) that I digitized.  I can't load multiple folders by opening or by appending them, and even saving single VOBs doesn't always work, resulting with a failure message.  I can view the partial videos, but I can't save them.
Can you direct me to a methodology?

Sorry for responding to this posting.  I haven't found how to generate a new post.

Thank you.

Moved to the main forum as the issues are presumably not Windows-specific.

VOBs are MPG (with a different filename extension).

Would you please attach the textual output of MediaInfo application for such a VOB file which you are able to play e.g. in VLC to your reply? Don't try to post it inline as CleanTalk might block the post then.
