Patch to make un-bundling libraries easier for packagers

Initially when I took over the RPM Fusion package for Fedora I just manually kept the patches up to date since they were quick hacks and not upstreamable. Now that I've learned a bit more about cmake I think I may have a patch that with review, would be acceptable and would make packaging for distros which do not allow bundled libs MUCH easier.

I think the cmake part is in pretty good shape but I had to patch the headers to look for the system installed library. My C isn't good enough to know how to if/then conditionalize the includes.
