Avidemux 2.6.8 v2 crashes when editing a very large and long remuxed MKV video

I remuxed with MKVtoolnix, a 10:23 min 1280x720 HD MOV video that I created. While editing the remuxed MKV, Avidemux crashes and close without any error message, when I try to play the video, edit it, and save it as an MP4 video.
Why this is happening?

.mov is only container (format). Perhaps the used video or audio codec is not supported in avidemux. Hard to tell without a sample. 10:23 minutes is not a large video file. I've processed 720p recordings around  6 hours, 24 to 30 GB in size.
Are you suing the latest avidemux build for windows?
