Sorry, maybe I' not the first who asks it, but I googled for the solution but couldn't find anything. Usually I work on Windows 7 64 bit notebook with 4Gb ram and load 4gb video files without any problem, but now I have to work on 10-years old Windows 7 32 bit notebook with 2Gb ram. I bumped into a strange problem. When I load files smaller than 2Gb, they are opened OK, but when I load files that are between 2GB and 3GB (not sure what the exact limit is), Avidemux crushes with the following (see attach). So I've got many files that are more than 2Gb in size, but I can't do anything with them, I can't even open them. Is the problem in low RAM amount or is it some Avidemux bug? Can it be fixed? The problem occurs both on stable 2.6 and the latest 2.7 nightly build.

Additional details: I've cut long files with Free Video Editor to 2Gb sections and then joined them in Avidemux, and it worked. Finally I managed to append 10 Gigs (50 minutes) clips, and there were no problems. So the reason why Avidemux doesn't want to open 2+Gb files is unlikely to be in RAM shortage. Another strange thing: one of the files that I saved was (MP4 H264 AAC) 2.6Gb, I opened it in Avidemux and it didn't crash. I tried to open one of the source files (MOV H264+WAV), which is 2.2G, and Avidemux crashed. I don't know, maybe it's format specific problem, but I opened 4GB files from the same camera on Windows 7 64 bit without any problems...
