Basically I record my TV in MTS.
When I import it to AviDemux, it's all fine. The thing is when I cut a portion of the video and export it. The final video starts with one second of audio that was cut out.

Is this a problem with Avidemux?

If someone needs an example, I can leave one.

You do select your editing points with only up/down keyboard arrow keys?

see our video demo: Fast Edit with Copy Mode @ YouTube channel: Avidemux Demo

A short (only a couple of minutes long) sample with exact steps to reproduce would be indeed nice, thanks.

No, I use left/right arrows because I'm doing a TVRip and I want it to be perfect.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjRIqDkHAHg - Notice that as soon as the video starts, there's a voice over that is interrupted and should be out of the cut. Right before the comical musical and the second voice over.

There is no need for illustration, the description was clear enough. Please upload a part of the source video (100 MiB would suffice) e.g. to https://wetransfer.com and provide precise steps to reproduce.

This should only work if you re-encode the video, does not work if used in copy mode.
