Hi
first post here from a newbie so please excuse my ignorance
I have a video file that plays great but without sound through my Roku 3. I understand that the Roku can play files in the MP4 container but needs the audio to be converted to one it likes.
Here are the details of the file

=====================================================
Video
=====================================================
Codec 4CC:      H264
Image Size:      1280 x 720
Aspect Ratio:      1:1 (1:1)
Frame Rate:      23.976 fps
Total Duration:      00:54:02.906

=====================================================
Extra Video Properties
=====================================================
ExtraDataSize:      41
Extra data:      01 64 00 29 FF E1 00 18 67 64

=====================================================
Audio
=====================================================
Codec:         AAC
Channels:      6
Bitrate:      16000 Bps / 128 kbps
Frequency:      48000 Hz
Total Duration:      00:54:02.94

I just can't get the audio to play. I have tried AAC(FDK), (FAAC) and (LAV).
I have set it to MP4muxer

Can somene tell me where I am going wrong?
I have other .MP4 videos so I know it can be done

thanks in advance
Steve

Check if you have multiple audio tracks in this video?
Set required audio tracks via  Menu: Audio: Select Track
for each [v] Enabled track (1 to 4) change [copy] to AAC (Faac)

test with 1 minute selected video what works and what doesn't.

Hi Jan
I did as suggested
It shows 4 tracks, one is enabled and is:- track 0 from video(AAC, 6Chan,128kbps)
all the other three show the same but are not ticked. Ticking them gives an error message, some tracks are used multiple times.
Any idea what to do now
thanks
