Not whining, just suggesting
« on: February 08, 2019, 08:17:26 PM »
Three useful potential improvements:
1. Add the ability to rotate a clip any number of degrees (to straighten tilted horizon in video).
2. Allow "Make partial" for "Change FPS" filter.
3. Add the ability to bring up shadows (leaving other areas unchanged) in high-contrast scenes.

Avidemux doesn't really support video with variable FPS (as some containers like AVI are fundamentally incompatible with variable FPS), so don't hold your breath.

This is definitely feasible, code contributions welcome. Not on my todo list.

It's been explained to me in detail (by eumagga0x2a) in another thread.

For anyone with the same desire/question, this feature is activated as follows:
Edit > Preferences > Display > GUI Rendering Options…Enable openGL support
NOTE: Avidemux restart required
