Hello

I have installed avidemux for windows in windows 10. When I import videos (mp4 format), I can play them in avidemux. but I can not heard the sound. The sound is right if I watch those videos with other app.

Is there something wrong in my installation? Do I have to do or install anything else?

Can anybody help me?

Thank you!

How about using the free MediaInfo (https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download) in View | Text mode to show you info about what's inside this file's MP4 container, copy the "Audio" portion of the readout, and upload the result here, formatted as code to preserve the layout. For example, here's the info about the audio stream of an MP4 I have here:

As always, two more requests, prior to any in-depth analysis:

1. Please ensure the audio device in the Preferences is not set to "dummy" (on Windows, it should be "Win32").

If the audio device is chosen correctly, please...

2. ... verify that the problem persists with the latest nightly build.
