With avidemux r201217_win64Qt5_44 the audio track is not heard and is not encoded. With 2.6.21 everything works. If with 2.6.21 (avidemux_r170501_win64Qt5_9) I make a .mkv with copy video and copy audio, then 2.7.7 works: the audio is heard and is encoded. I attach a a piece of film You cannot view this attachment.. If you can help me ... Thanks
ps. Can you give me the win64_qt5 link of version 2.7.1 release?

Fallout from adding 24-bit (L)PCM support. Should be fixed by [editor/audio] Enforce blockalign for (L)PCM only, thank you very much for your timely report.

When 2.7.7 doesn't work then I use 2.7.1 (hoping it works!). But I want the 2.7.1 link but .zip (so I don't have to install). Thanks

Why trying to turn the clock back that far? There are hundreds of bugs in 2.7.1 which are fixed in later versions. You need just either a build off the latest git master (new builds may be uploaded in near future) or a build which doesn't contain [editor] Enforce audio packet alignment from Dec 1 2020.

Pick the latest 2011xy one from https://avidemux.org/nightly/win64/ and you should be fine with regard to this issue.

One doesn't need to install any, no matter how they are packaged as p7zip should be able to decompress NSIS installers (it can also unpack the QtIF installer of VC++ builds, but that one is slightly more complicated).
