Hi, just to say that it is appartently not possible to accelerate both the video and the sound on avidemux, could you pease improve this option on this freeware.

Strictly speaking, Avidemux is not freeware. It is free software, i.e. anyone with C++ skills can submit code for inclusion in Avidemux which implements functionality she or he needs (there is review process, of course, but I hope Avidemux is pretty friendly for external code contributions).

Filters operating both on video and audio are IMHO not possible with the current design of the application. I fear that nothing short of rewrite of a major part of the code can open the door to such possibilities.
