How to change fps (frame per seconds) when re-encoding settings?

Assume I want to re-encode a video into MP4 format, AVC x264 video codec and AAC audio codec.
I load the video to re-encode into Avidemux and select from video configuration:

general:
use advanced configuration=No
Preset=slow
Tuning=film
Profile=High
IDC-Level=Auto
Encoding Mode=Average Bitrate (Two-pass)

Questions:

1.) Which fps rate does the encoder use?
The same as in the original video or the default one for AVC H.264?

2.) How can I keep ALL video encoding parameter for slow+file+high (see above) EXCEPT fps
...and change fps to lets say 30?

Where (in which tab) is this parameter listed?

Thank you

The encoder use the fps that it gets from the editor. So either the fps of the source, or if there is fps changing filter (eg. "Change FPS"), than that.

At the top of the dialog here is a "Save As" button, you can create an encoder profile, which can be selected later from the list next to that button.
