I'm attempting to upload a file (which is then compressed by the site that will host it) and it shows up as corrupt.
So I figured fine, I'll just remux it with Avidemux to fix whatever's going on with it.
No luck.
Recompress and convert.
STILL no luck.
What the hell is wrong with this source file that may be causing such a problem with Firefox!?
Can it be "fixed" with Avidemux?

This is the source file:

These are the files generated by the website, and Avidemux:

When I try to open either of the recompressed files in Firefox, they show up as corrupt.

All three files play fine in Firefox (and in Avidemux) for me, please elaborate.

Firefox tells me the file is corrupt, and I am not the only one.
However my Firefox browser is not up to date so maybe this was fixed.
Neither of the second files play in Firefox for me.
I run a 32 bit version of ESR 78.15

Works for me in 64-bit Firefox 114 for macOS (Intel). The latest 32-bit ESR Firefox version for Windows is 102.12, I don't think obsolete versions matter.

As far as Firefox, it may be an OS issue, i.e., not all OS have underlying support for all codecs, so if the file you're wanting to play (in FF) doesn't have underlying OS support for it, it won't play.

What OS are you running?

Likewise, being on an old FF version, as you are, may also play into it.

(The source files are no longer available for me to look at.)
