Hi there,

I have several MOV videos captured by iPhone 14 Pro Max, SW: 17.3.1 which have AVC video and AAC LC audio.
When I open such a video in Avidemux 2.8.2, it says: No Audio in the File\Information field but when I open the same video in Avidemux 2.8.1.22260, the audio is correctly recognised.

=====================================================
Audio (1 active track)
=====================================================
Codec:            AAC
Channels:         Stereo
Bitrate:         23356 Bps / 186 kbps
Frequency:         44100 Hz
Total Duration:         00:00:09.404

Any clues what's wrong?
File information of the same video generate by the Avidemux 2.8.1 and 2.8.2 as well as MediaInfo are attached.

Thanks.

Please provide a sample preferably via WeTransfer (no email address required despite the site trying to suggest otherwise), Mega, Dropbox or Google Drive.

I confirm. I have the same problem as topicstarter.

Avidemux Version and source: https://www.avidemux.org/nightly/win64/avidemux_r240531_win64Qt5_28.zip

blink182, thank you very much for the sample, the bug should be fixed by [demuxers/Mp4] Skip mp4a atom inside wave instead of misparsing the remainder as WAVEFORMATEX.

Please try a future nightly or build Avidemux from the latest git master yourself.

I have the same problem

When will be approximately the next Nightly release?

In a week or 3 months?

eumagga0x2a

In less than 3 months with 99% certainty.

Time it takes to set up cross-build environment on a reasonably recent hardware: maybe 3 hours if hw is not completely Linux-hostile?

eumagga0x2a

A fresh "win64" cross-compiled build was uploaded on Aug 4, please try.

I confirm, now it's working with avidemux_r240811_win64Qt5_34
Thank you!  ;)
