10 seconds video from 1 image
I drop 1 image, xvid, mp4 muxer, filter still image 10s (which i do not find online in the official help https://www.avidemux.org/admWiki/doku.php?id=using:video_filters ).
This did it yesterday but not today.
"cannot set up encoder"
Whats wrong??

2.
Why cant Avidemux say exactly whats going wrong???
These error messages do not help anyone.
Invisible there stands every time :" please look in the forum"???
This can not be rocket science.

And then these everlasting OK clicks... not userfriendly

The official recommendation about the totally outdated Wiki is to ignore the latter.

For the very same image and codec settings? Probably not  ;D

My best guess based on zero details provided is either width or height of the image (or both) being odd. Most encoders require them to be even and some don't bother to tell the client the reason for the failure, just throw an unspecified error. The pixel format used by Avidemux internally also requires image dimensions to be even as it halves chroma resolution in each dimension.

I admit that Avidemux doesn't help to educate user in this matter.
