Hi everybody. I have just downloaded Avidemux and trying to do something with it. The first problem I have is with audio: in preferences-audio-audio device I only have two choices: dummy and sdl. No way of checking core audio which should be the default setting in mac os (10.6.8). I have tried to re-install, re-download, I have also downloaded the 2.5.2 version but nothing.
Any hints ?
Thanks in advance
Angelo

Just select SDL (it's the only optionââ,¬Â¦).

I already have tried, but no audio output.
It seems to me from the documentation that it should be the option Core Audio:
http://www.avidemux.org/admWiki/doku.php?id=using:preferences
but it doesn't seem to be true. Am I supposed to install some encoder or something in order to work with SDL ?

I'm using Avidemux 2.5.4 on 10.7 and SDL works (CoreAudio might have been supported by earlier versions of Avidemux). No additional installation needed.

If you use Homebrew to compile Avidemux 2.5.6 HEAD from svn, you get CoreAudio plus numerous fixes and probably a newer ffmpeg.  I can't remember.

brew install --HEAD avidemux
