ASS/SSA on OS X Lion

Sorry in advance if this question has been answered before.

I recently installed 2.5.2 for Lion, and the ass/ssa subtitle filter is gone (VobSub, DVD, and srt/sub are here though). Since one of the files that had to be deleted to make the program run at all was libxml2.2.dylib (and to my knowledge libxml2-2 enables the ass/ssa plugin on Windows), is using ass/ssa possible on Lion?

I would LOVE to know this please. On my case, i can't see any of the options to add subtitle. Its just blank. Im using Aivdemux 2.6 and my OS is OSX Mavericks.
