2.6.1 Nightly (r8467) - Can no longer open JPG files as sequence?

Hello there

I have upgraded from 2.5.6-1 to 2.6.1 (r8467).

Opening multiple .jpg files as sequence is no longer working, error: "Cannot find a demuxer for filename.jpg"

Can anyone explain this?

There are many other inconveniences in 2.6.x I can live with but this is a deal breaker sadly :/

Can't explain really. Probably has to do with avidemux 2.6.# inconvenience(s) is not frame based editing but time based.
Use both avidemux 2.5.6 and 2.6.1 along each other. Keep track what the one or other does not do.

Using both versions along each other works flawlessy or can they conflict with the config files in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\avidemux\ ?

They should/would/could both have their separate folder (it is like this in Linux, guess it would be same for other OS). It should not be a problem, not heard of it otherwise.
