conversion of profiles and projects made by 2.5 ?

is there any way to convert configuration profiles and project scripts made by 2.5 to fit 2.6?

Not that I know. If scripts use avidemux cli, use the GUI version.
2 reasons doing so:
Some settings is not picked up with cli.
GUI gives some feedback, when evrything is back working to your licking then use: --nogui
