Cut or Delete?

I'm cutting some frames from home movies. After marking the area to cut with the A/B markers, do I use Edit > Cut, or Edit > Delete? and What is the difference between using Cut or Delete?

Maybe the difference is in possibility of "Paste"

ps Is it possible to add changes history feature (undo/redo)?

Yes, 'Cut' would imply you could paste the section elsewhere but I get an error message when using Edit > Paste.

There is a patch that adds an undo function.

But you would need to recompile with the patch included.

Considering the date the patch was supplied.
That would be in the current windows releases for both the installer and nightlies.
