Logo Alpha Problem

When I add a logo to my video I can't change the alpha value. Independent if I type in the value 255 for alpha the alpha value will always be 16 after pressing OK. This is really annoying. I appreciate any help! (:

OS: Arch Linux 64bit
Avidemux: 2.5.6-8 (GTK)
