2.6.7: Copy & Paste functions broken

I've been using 2.6.1 for a while now. While it works pretty good for most tasks, it has a few 'limitations' and quirks.

So, I just downloaded version 2.6.7 and tried it out. But, no matter what I do or which video I try to edit, I can't get the Copy or Paste functions to work. I select a portion to copy, but every time I try Copy it gives this error message:

Oops

This function is disabled or no longer valid

Please fix this. I consider copy and paste to be essential functions to a video editor. Without this, I have to resort to either an older version where it still works or some other software entirely.
