24-bit, 32-bit (wav) audio track not handled

I often need to import a new audio track to a HD video with 48kHz, 24-bit audio, but I have to downgrade my (.wav) mixes to 16-bit to be able to import it to Avidemux.

Has it just not evolved to 24-bit-+ yet or have I missed something?
