filter black / play filtered

Hello,

I downloaded 2.6.1 recently. I have a mp4 handheld concert video that has small parts that I want to censor without affecting the audio (turn to black, strong blur, static, whatever works - something that looks natural would be perfect, that could pass as a momentary loss of focus or poor camera handling

2 questions:

1) I searched for "filter black", but I can't find it anywhere. I tried using "fade out" but it's not the ideal tool, as its blackening effect is gradual.

2) Also, I couldn't find the option "play filtered", I just save the edited video every time I need to check the result. Where is it?

several filters are missing! you're not using the latest avidemux 2.6.19!
Video Filter Manager: Transform:
- Add Borders
- Add logo
- Ascii view
- Black
- Blacken Borders
check here: http://www.avidemux.org/nightly/ should be at least Apr 2017
