Hello Avidemus guru,

Can you please help me with the following:
When I add subtitles using an ssa file it shows doubled subtitle in the video(mp4 video file).
I attached a print screen with the doubled subtitle and also the ssa file.

The first idea would be VLC displaying the subtitles from the .ssa file atop of subtitles hardcoded by Avidemux into the video.

When no double subtitles are visible while playing the resulting video in Avidemux itself, it must be the case.

Thank you very much for your reply. Yes, I had a srt file in the same directory with the mp4 file so VLC Player displayed doth the hardcoded subtitles and the srt file from the same directory. Once I removed the srt file from the directory everything was ok.
