Subtitle management with mkv files

Why it is not possible to make cuts by preserving the subtitles muxed?
this can be done with MKVToolnix but without the video monitor and this is a problem.
If Avidemux could manage the subtitles it would be a complete program.
There is no possibility to do this?

Subtitle track support is not implemented. Quality patches welcome.
