avidemux does not work with appimaged

appimaged is a daemon that will scan AppImage and automatically generate desktop entry for users so I won't need to create by hand.

However the entry it generates for avidemux is incomplete thus could not be used by gnome-desktop, could anyone help update the AppImageKit to a more recent version and embed a valid desktop entry?

If you have the official appImage in mind, only the author of Avidemux has access to the infrastructure, but everyone running Linux can trivially build Avidemux from source. Especially users with recent Intel CPUs who use the integrated GPU benefit massively from building from source as the appImage doesn't provide support for HW accelerated decoding and encoding via libva.
