Installed the Avidemux_2.8.1VC++64bits.exe on my windows10 laptop. No problems except there is no shortcut on the desktop or on the programs list to start the program. The only things on the programs list are attached.
How do I get a normal install with shortcuts on the desktopYou cannot view this attachment.

For VC++ builds or ZIP-packaged MinGW builds of Avidemux: manually the same way as for MS Office as described by Microsoft here.

NSIS-packaged MinGW builds of Avidemux are capable of creating a shortcut on desktop for all users on their own.
