Is there a way to encode hdr videos into non-hdr?

i have seen smth on google search but didnt understand a thing. cant do that color editing manually as i am not expert. is there a quick way?

Only using "Video" --> "HDR tone mapping" and finding a mode which looks best. Of course, you need to re-encode.

If HDR tone mapping is not offered, Avidemux won't be able to convert colorspace.

wow thank you. i used rgb hable, 1,2 saturation and 0,8 boost and it looks better than on pot player.
