Changing shortcuts on Mac

Is it possible to change Set Start Marker and Set End Marker to a keyboard shortcut of my choosing? Would prefer it as one Key, instead of 3 keys...

I found some solutions for Windows but not for Mac.

No different than on Linux or on Windows: enable alternative keyboard shortcuts in Avidemux Preferences (COMMAND+,) to get "I" as the shortcut for setting the start marker and "O" for setting the end one. You can change these to your liking by manually editing the values of "alt_mark_a" and "alt_mark_b" keys in the ~/.avidemux6/config3 file using a text editor.
