Installing AvidemuxPortable_2.8.1.paf.exe Question

I just installed AvidemuxPortable_2.8.1.paf.exe but cannot find where it was installed on my computer.  I've looked in Program Files, Program Files(x86), Program Data, in my App Data folders and cannot find an Avidemux.exe to run the program.  I had earlier tried installing Avidemux 2.8.1 VC++64bit but it just deleted the version that was on my computer and didn't install any new version.  I was told by and Admin here that the VC++64bit version was incompatible:
"The last known good official nightly build is cross-compiled (built with MinGW on Linux for 64bit Windows) r241212. Therefore, completely remove the incompatible VC++ build, then install (or unpack) the cross-compiled one."
Can someone tell me where I can download the most current "Good" version of Avidemux for Windows11 and also where to find the .exe for the "Portable' version I just installed?

     Thank you.

Official nightly builds are uploaded to https://avidemux.org/nightly/ with cross-compiled ones stored in the "win64" folder.

I have no idea what "AvidemuxPortable_2.8.1.paf.exe" should be, not even whether that binary has anything to do with Avidemux except for the name. You are absolutely on your own in such gambles.

The recommended way to obtain Avidemux developer builds is to build from source. If this is impossible due to lack of knowledge or time, use an official nightly build. Release builds have published checksum, always verify them.

Thank you.  I downloaded and installed avidemux_2.8.2 r241212_win64.exe from the link you provided.
