Dear administrator,
I have been using Avidemux on Ubuntu for quite a long time. I love most of its functionality. Good app.
I have a small issue to report.
I am using the latest release on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. When I click the SAVE button on toolbar after editing, the pop-up window is always not the focus. I have to click the pop-up window to activate it and then I can key-in the file name. If I don't click the window, the key-in action is in vain. I know that it is trivial. But activating the window after clicking SAVE will make things more smooth.

Not our fault as far as I can tell. Please make sure the Ubuntu equivalents of qgnomeplatform-qt5 for Qt5 builds of Avidemux and qgnomeplatform-qt6 for Qt6 respectively are removed from your system. These packages break Qt file dialog.

OK. Thank you.
I will try to figure it out :o

What type of Avidemux build do you use? Broken file dialog might be related to flatpak.

I would thank the administrator and all the other replies. Problem solved, after a period of time and unusual condition.
One day I opened Avidemux and found no more review images. I tried to solve the problem and uninstall/install the program for several times. I happened to realize that there are multiple installs from different source. As the Ubuntu system is an upgraded one, it's not clean. Two software installers are present. I finally totally removed multiple installs. After a clean install of Avidemux, it runs fast and fine without window focus issue. At last, the program itself is OK. The problem is the system.
