Have you verified that "significantly reducing dynamic link libraries" actually helps?

Definitely yes if I delete the complete filter folder and then the launch works immediately.

However, there seem to be some DLLs that take longer with the cloud check. But it is difficult to find out which DLLs exactly cause the problem, because you would have to go through all 193 individually. I even tried that, but found out that even once a DLL caused the loading problem, but then at the next startup exactly this one suddenly didn't cause the delay anymore. Therefore I think it is the interaction of the high amount of DLLs and it is not specifically at individual DLLs. Therefore I come on the assumption of a possible flood protection with the cloud servers, since it lasts even different long, even if one starts with the same DLLs several times Avidemux.

Of course, it's just a guess, since I don't know the logic of the cloud protection here. Therefore, I tried to describe my observations as accurately as possible here.

But the fact is, if I disable the cloud protection completely, Avidemux with all 193 DLLs is loaded within 2 seconds and reacts immediately.

I've observed a similar problem with Topaz Video AI, but it doesn't load quite as many DLLs, so it's not as big a delay as Avidemux.

Even the developers mention the problem here:
